Thanks to Motionographer, I spent the day at the Motion Plus Design meet up in Tokyo, where some of the greats of motion design shared their experience and their advice with a packed house.

You know shows like True Blood, Jessica Jones and movies like Tropic Thunder, Blade Runner 2049 and more, but you may not know the names behind some the most incredible works of modern design which go into titles, sequences, and more. To see how these top individuals in their craft go about their work flow was such an inspiring experience.

What was the highlight for me? Too many to list, but I will say to spend time chatting with Kyle Cooper who singlehandedly reinvented the film title genre with his work on the movie Se7en, was definitely high on the list.
